We collect: account info (email, display name), payment metadata (handled by Stripe — we never store card numbers), gameplay data (matches, ratings, settings), and basic device/analytics data.
2. How We Use Data
To operate the Service, process payments, match you with opponents, improve gameplay, send transactional emails, and detect cheating.
3. Processors
We use Supabase (database & auth) and Stripe (payments). Both are GDPR-compliant. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
4. Cookies
We use cookies for session management, referral tracking, and aggregate analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser, but parts of the Service may not work.
5. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
You may request access, correction, deletion, or export of your personal data at any time via our contact form. We respond within 30 days.
6. Data Retention
We retain account data while your account is active and for up to 24 months after deletion to comply with legal obligations (tax, fraud prevention).
7. Children's Privacy
QuasarChess is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
8. International Transfers
Your data may be processed in countries outside your own. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses where required.
9. Changes to This Policy
Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice before they take effect.
